My New Gym

Last month my gym membership expired.  That’s OK I’ve been sick of working out indoors for a while now.  Even with lots of ways to change it up, I was still getting bored with it.  I started at a new gym this month.  It’s got no dues, no trainers and no hours.  It’s outdoors.  It’s just a set of chin up bars, a set of parallel bars and the ground.


My workouts have consisted of:

  • Pull ups
  • Chin ups
  • Push ups
  • Dips
  • L-sits
  • Planks
  • Squats
  • Lunges
  • Lots of variations on the above

It’s amazing how little equipment you need to get in a good workout.  After some of these days I wake up with my arms and core and completely sore.
