Vegan Energy Food: Bananas & Dates

Here’s a video I made about my favorite vegan energy foods, which are bananas and dates:

1 Banana: 105 cal / 27g carbs / 1.3g protein / 0.4g fat
1 Date: 20 cal / 5.3g carbs / 0.2g protein / 0.0g fat

Simple carbohydrates, easy to digest and turn into energy.  Especially great for any endurance activity.

    Those dates look amazing. I just went to that site but they said the harvest is over for the season and they’re sold out. Thanks for the tip though.

    Love bananas and dates! I think it’s safe to say that they make up the majority of my food intake. Excellent energy food for sure!
