Half Marathon!
Hi everybody! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted but between work getting crazy and training hard for this race the blog kinda took a back seat. Well, after 3 months of training the race was this past Sunday and it was A LOT of fun. I ran the San Antonio Rock & Roll Half Marathon. I made a vlog of it here:
I apologize, the first 2.5 minutes of the video are in my car at 5am and I didn’t realize it was completely dark. I finished in 2:11 which is exactly 10 minute miles. I highly recommend getting the No Meat Athlete Half-Marathon Roadmap*. I would not have been able to train for this race, do so well, and avoid injury without it.
Now what?
Well, the half marathon is done. What’s next? Am I going to do another one? Train for a full marathon? I have several ideas I’m toying around with, fitness-wise and only about half of them involve running. Expect to see more in the coming weeks on that.
